Had an awesome time with friends after exploring the stunning Dartmoor National Park and nearby beaches. John and Jane were fantastic hosts, making everything feel like home. Breakfast was delicious and filling, and we appreciated the little touches in our room. Can't wait to return and enjoy another great stay!
The only downside was the hill leading to the hotel, which was a bit tough after a long day out.

The decor packs charm, making for a cozy atmosphere that’s hard to come by nowadays. Breakfast choices shine, featuring well-cooked dishes made from quality ingredients without any shortcuts.
Some rooms lack showers, offering only bathtubs instead, so pick wisely if that matters to you. Due to the age of the building, double glazing isn't an option, leading to chilly nights—though the provided plug-in heaters help ease the discomfort a bit.

we had such an amazin stay at haytor hotel! john n jane r the warmest hosts, made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. the location is super convenient, just a stroll from the harbour n local shops. breakfast was absolutely delicious, totally tailored to our needs, even got vegan options. it was spotlessly clean, like seriously clean everywhere!
i wish we coulda stayed longer than 2 nights! also, the wifi could’ve been a bit stronger since it dropped sometimes.

Oh mate, breakfast at Haytor was an absolute feast! I’m talking fresh ingredients with options for everyone, from vegan to full English. And the hosts? John and Jane felt like mates from the off! The spot's also a stone's throw from some top-notch eateries like Amici and The Shack.
Well, the only hiccup was that some rooms are just pure bathtubs, no showers. But honestly, it didn’t dampen the vibe, and they’ve got plug-in heaters for those chilly nights!

The double room with bath was elegant and spotlessly clean. The breakfast selection was standout especially the fresh fruit salad catering to dairy free and vegan diets.
